I know you're supposed to put something here with all your accolades that set you apart from your competitors, but that's not me. I'm a hugger, not a bragger.
I believe we each have something unique to offer the world and my gift is book alchemy. The services I offer are as multifaceted as they are empowering.
I get excited by smart structure and engaging prose. I'm also a fan of hooks that pull you in from the very first page and titles that get you to stop scrolling and start reading.
I love taking an idea, manuscript, or conversation and helping others bring their stories to life. And while I have helped many authors hit the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller lists, I can't promise your book will be a bestseller. (Spoiler alert: no one can.)
However, what I can promise is when we work together, I will help you create a book you are proud of, a book that sounds just like you, a book that captures exactly what you want to say in a way that makes your words leap off the page and into the hearts of those who read them.
I'm guessing they're probably yours too.
I credit my dad, who read me and my younger brother to sleep every night. We each got to pick one book. When I started carrying anthologies into bed with me, my dad would chuckle.
I knew I was bending the rules, but he indulged me while I tried not to fall asleep as he read from Beatrix Potter, Lewis Carroll, Dr. Seuss, and so many others.
But the best stories were the ones he made up. I was fascinated by his ability to come up with new adventures each night and would request my favorites on the regular.
I feel the same way about the authors I work with. It's such an honor to be entrusted with their stories as we work to inspire and create new memories for generations to come.
They're like little beacons of inspiration.
I hang them everywhere---in my office, on the bamboo tree in the hallway, outside to make our patio feel like our own private bistro.
I also like cats and coffee, sea salt caramels, and the magic of early mornings that envelop me in their quiet.
I run only when chased and you will often find me curled up on the couch with a good book at the end of my day.
One day, I hope to be reading yours.
